JoAnne "Jody" Kite was born in Tulsa in 1953 to Bruce and Betty Ford. She passed away on October 16th, 2020. Jody grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Edison High School in 1971. She worked most of her adult life at Marketing Planning Solutions, Inc in Tulsa except for seven years while she lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jody returned to Tulsa in 1996 to finish out a more than 35 year career at MPSI, retiring in 2019. She was a long time member of Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sevie Winkeljohn (Tim) of Thornton, CO, her son, Daniel Kite (Ashley) of Jenks, OK, and her daughter, Amanda Miller (Philip) of Jenks, OK. Jody was blessed with six grandchildren; Ryan Ferguson, Jaxon Kite, Trevor Winkeljohn, Lillian Kite, Hadassah Miller, and Josiah Miller. Jody loved being Mom to her children and Grammy to her grandchildren, dedicating her time and efforts to their well-being. She is also survived by her sisters, Barb Cwyana (Greg) of Edmond, OK and Cathy Williams (Kenny) of Collinsville, OK, and her brother, Tom Ford (Karen) of Owasso, OK.
Jody will be missed by both family and friends.
