Terri L McAuliff

On Monday, November 1, 2021 Terri Lea McAuliff of Tulsa, OK peacefully went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, while surrounded by her husband and children. She was the beloved wife of David B. McAuliff of 47 years; the mother of Alissa (Ben) Freeman, David Justin (Jessica) McAuliff, Ashley (Paul) Daugherty, and Rachael (Brent) Homcy; grandmother (Gigi) to her 17 grandchildren - Benjamin, Luke, Ella and Ava Freeman; Jadyn, Makayla, Zoe, Major and Eden McAuliff; Liam, Benaiah, Mac, Elianna and Gianna Daugherty; Emmalyn, Micaiah and Caden Homcy; daughter to Dollie McFarland and the late Don Johnson; sister to Joe Johnson. Terri was born on August 8, 1956 in Tulsa, OK, where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1974. She excelled at many endeavors, was a natural leader and had an entrepreneurial spirit. She spent that last 30+ years of her life serving the Tulsa community as a Realtor, alongside her husband, David. Terri loved her family dearly and always found a way to serve each person uniquely. She loved to gather for family dinners - cooking for a family of 27+ with passion and excellence. She created an environment of safety, love and care for each person in her family. She sought to bring people together, always seeking for unity and making sure to include any and everyone. She was passionate about Jesus and considered it one of her life ambitions to ensure that those she loved would spend eternity in heaven. She and her husband served as Connect Group Leaders for the last 7+ years, teaching a class that has impacted hundreds of people at their home church, Victory Church in Tulsa, OK. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She loved on every person she met and made each one feel special and seen. She was committed to being there for her family and friends, no matter the time, event or need. She loved well and was well loved. All her family and friends will miss her unifying presence and words of wisdom in the days and years to come. A time to greet the family will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 10 am at Victory Church, 7700 S. Lewis Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74136, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11 am in the main Worship Center. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
