Amy Christin Curry

June 14, 1979 - April 29, 2022

Amy Christin Curry was born on June 14, 1979 in Wichita, Kansas and passed away Friday, April 29,2022 at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Amy spent her early childhood in Wichita with her parents Brent and Sue and younger sister Emily. The family moved to Tulsa when Amy was 6 years old. Amy attended Jenks East Elementary and enjoyed dance at Miss Shelley's Dance School for 10 years with ballet being her very favorite. She also loved playing softball in the spring and summer time. Amy was a cheerleader during her middle school years at Jenks East Middle School. She graduated from Jenks High School in 1997 and was a social butterfly while there. Amy was very smart and school came very easy to her but what she loved most was being the funny, clever and practical joke playing student and spending time with her friends. She was the "life of the party" everyone would say. After graduating from Jenks High School, Amy attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Amy had a strong love for the Cowboys and was your biggest Cowboy football fan. Her support for the Cowboys continued on throughout her life. Amy's greatest joy in her life was her daughter Darian Michelle. Darian arrived on June 30, 2002 and Amy has been her biggest supporter and cheerleader since that day! She was so very proud of Darian and all of her accomplishments. Amy not only cherished spending time with Darian, her family and cheering for the OSU Cowboys, she also was very passionate about animals. Taking care of her precious cats brought her great joy. She loved all animals and never turned away the opportunity to help an animal in need. She also loved her pink pigs. Her greatest love being her stuffed animal "Mr. Pig" or really any cute pink pig she was gifted. Amy will be remembered by all for her great sense of humor, contagious laugh and her heart of gold! Amy is survived by her daughter, Darian Michelle Curry; her parents Brent and Sue Curry; her sister Emily (Curry) Martin and brother-in-law Kevin Martin and nephew Hudson Scott Martin. Amy also has numerous Uncles, Aunts and cousins whom she loved dearly. Amy is predeceased by grandparents Oren and Ramona Curry; Ira and Elfriede (Ross) Davis and Eldon Davis; beloved cousin Tyler (Ross) Wynn.
