Rosalie C Hahn

July 17, 1933 - October 12, 2020

Rosalie Catherine (Moran) Hahn passed from this life into God's hands on October 12, 2020, after an extended illness. She was 87 years old. Rosalie was born on July 17, 1933 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Grade School and graduated from Marquette High School in 1950. Rosalie married Shelton Hahn on August 9, 1952. Together, they opened Hahn Radio and TV in 1961. Until she retired from Hahn Appliance Center in 1992, Rosalie worked tirelessly managing all of the accounting and bookkeeping functions of the business. She and Shelton were charter members of the Church of St. Mary in Tulsa and her Catholic faith was foundational to everything in her life. She served as sacristan for many years at St. Mary's and prayed before the Lord in Eucharistic adoration at St. John's Hospital chapel, for an hour, every week for over twenty years. Rosalie had a fervent devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary and could often be found late at night, on her couch, with rosary and prayer intention book in hand. Rosalie epitomized grace, love, and compassion in everything she did. She loved traveling with Shelton and her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bill Armiger. There was always a fondness in her heart for roses, hummingbirds, her flower garden, her longtime canine sidekick, Dottie and all things irish. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and three sisters. Her son Jimmy Hahn passed away in October 2019, and her infant grandson, Taylor Harris, passed away in 1981. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Shelton T. Hahn, Sr.; daughter Carol Kmetz (Andy); daughter Teresa Harris (Mike); son Shelton, Jr. (Diane); and son Paul (Lori). Known as Mema, she was blessed to have 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, with another on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she always loved as her own. A Rosary will be prayed for Rosalie at the Church of St. Mary on Thursday, October 15 at 7:00 PM. The Rite of Christian Burial Mass will be celebrated on October 16 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary. The family will hold a private family interment at Calvary Cemetery. The funeral mass will be live streamed at: https://www.youtube.com/churchofsaintmary In lieu of flowers, the family asks a donation to be made in Rosalie's name to either of the following: School of St. Mary Education Trust Fund, 1347 E. 49th Pl, Tulsa, OK 74105 Alzheimer's Association at ACT.ALZ.org, 918-749-1423
