Agnes Marie "Aggie" Bent, 89, of Tulsa, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2017. The family will hold a private celebration of her life at a later date.
She was born on October 13, 1927, in Binghamton, New York, the daughter of Leonard E. and Agatha J. (Wenskus) Kolesinskas. On February 15, 1947, she married John "Butch" Pandish, and they were happily married for 18 years, until his death. She then found love again, and married Fraser Bent on November 8, 1971.
Aggie was known for her sense of humor, her kind heart, and loving spirit. She was an excellent cook, loved to dance, and play various games with her friends and family. Aggie was a world traveler, having seen most of Europe, Asia, and the United States. Her biggest regret was that she never saw the Great Wall of China or the Pyramids in Egypt. She had always dreamt of going to Cuba, but when the opportunity arose, she was no longer able to travel. She enjoyed spending time at the Broken Arrow Senior Center, and spent many wonderful hours there in fellowship with others. The Parke Assisted Living was her most recent home, and she developed many wonderful friendships there. She had recently discovered a love for painting, and sculpting.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Cowan, and her husband, Tim, of Tulsa, son, John Pandish, of Milford, Pennsylvania, four grandchildren, Tim Cowan, and his wife, Katie, of Orlando, FL, Jonathan Cowan, and his wife, Gina, of Tulsa, John Pandish, Jr., of New York City, NY, and Katlyn Pandish, of Milford, PA, great-grandchildren, Zachary Cowan, Nathan Cowan, Sydney Cowan, Harrison Cowan, Emma Figueroa, Andrew Figueroa, and Everett Cowan, sister, Geraldine Shattuck, and numerous other family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands, John "Butch" Pandish, and Fraser Bent.
Memorials may be made in her name to St. Bernards Catholic Church, 4001 E. 101st Street, Tulsa, OK 74137.
