Agnes Geraldine McAulay Cox was born March 27, 1925 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and passed away August 12, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the eighth of nine children born to Joseph McAulay and Laura Dangerfield McAulay, who moved their family to Tulsa in 1933. Agnes graduated from Holy Family High School and worked 43 years for Standard Oil, ultimately retiring from AMOCO in 1980. She was pre-deceased by her parents, seven of her eight siblings, and son, Jeff. She is survived by her son, Michael, daughter Karen, granddaughter, Jessica, and sister, Helen McAulay Hoagland as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Agnes was a founding member of the Church of Saint Mary and an avid sports fan who loved the OSU Cowboys. The family wishes to thank Dr. Carol J. Howard, her assistant Vanessa, and the In His Image staff for their care. The family also extends gratitude to her in-home aides for their compassionate care for Agnes. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Mary's Home Improvement Ministry in her honor.
