Obituary

Our beloved father, Albert "Glenn" Edmonds, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2010, in Tulsa in the company of family. He was bom in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on July 21, 1928, to Ava Murphy Edmonds (Norman) and Albert Edmonds. He had seven children, Ryann Hamilton (Cathy), Diane Farmer, Robin Stratton, Cheryl Edmonds, Christopher Edmonds, Susan Edmonds, and Michael Edmonds; four grandsons, Michael and Shannon Zemke, David and Corey Wilcox; one granddaughter, Camryn Edmonds; and five great¬grandchildren, Anna Linder and Bethany Wilcox, Isabelle and Sophia Wilcox, and Madison Zemke. After graduating from Will Rogers High School in 1946, he served in the Navy from 1946-1948, and was married to Ann Rosalie Latting on August 19, 1949. He graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics and retired from American Airlines after 41-1/2 years. He was an active member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for many years, and was a loyal volunteer usher at the Performing Arts Center. He was a member of the Catholic Church of the Resurrection.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Joe Norman, wife Ann, and daughter Cheryl. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, October 9th at 9:00 a.m., at the Church of the Resurrection, 4804 South Fulton, Tulsa, OK.
