Alexander Hamilton Handlan (Sonny) was
born April 17, 1929 and was called to heaven November 25, 2015 at the magnificent age of 86. He graduated from Cascia Hall Preparatory School in Tulsa. He entered the United States Marine Corps following graduation, he was stationed in El Toro, California, eventually going to work for the family business at Handlan Buck in St Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents Alexander Handlan and Maria Louise Summers, daughter Katherine Alspaugh and son Edward Handlan. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Marianne and children Alexander Handlan, Thomas Handlan, and Ellen Handlan, grandchildren Kari Alspaugh, Michael Handlan, Emma Alspaugh, Great grandchildren Isabella Cawvey, Gabriel Williams and Matthew Alspaugh, and a host of loving relatives from St Louis and many friends who will miss him. He was a truly good man of great character. He will be in our memories forever. Grave side service Monday November 30, 2015 at Calvary Cemetery 10:30 AM.
