Alice Hudson Brennan began her life at the newly built St. John's Hospital on October 9, 1927. Her parents were Henry and Irene Hudson. She was a graduate of Marquette High School, Class of 1945. Alice continued her education at Trinity College in Washington, D.C., completing her history degree at The University of Tulsa in 1950. She held a lifetime teaching certificate from these endeavors. Alice was an alumna of Chi Omega Sorority and served as Alumni President from 1969-1970.
On January 20th 1951, she was joined in marriage to Michael F. Brennan. Together they raised six children. Alice was very generous with her time to charitable causes and organizations too numerous to name. She was active in the St. John's Hospital Auxiliary and served as President for two years. Alice was honored as the Auxilarian of the Year in 1984 and 1985. Alice was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church for most of her life and served as past President of the St. Charles Guild. She was always eager to step in to assist in any manner she could. She was a Lady of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. As an avid golfer, she made a hole in one on Hole 2 at The Greens Country Club in Oklahoma City, on April 14, 1991.
Aside from the many adventurous family vacations and weekends at Grand Lake, Mike and Alice were world travelers. Together, their travels took them to the Holy Lands, many locations in Europe, Ireland, Scotland, China and Japan, to name a few.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband Michael, her sister Kathleen Sullivan, her children and their spouses, Michael Brennan III; Marguerite Claybaugh and husband Earl; Bridget Palmer and husband Mike; Shivaun Parrish and husband Rick; Shawn Brennan and wife Loralann; and Tim Brennan and wife Jamie; and her niece Elizabeth Skarke and husband Steve. She is likewise survived by her loving grandchildren, Gretchen and Shawn Whistler, Aaron and April Claybaugh, Sheila Claybaugh, Christine and Jeff Hauck, Shawn and Jenn Claybaugh, Staci Parrish, Christopher Parrish, Sydney Brennan, Patrick Brennan, Austin Brennan and Lexi Brennan. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, who will miss their "Nano" greatly.

Viewing will be Monday, September 22, from 12 -4 PM, at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel. Rosary will be Monday, 7 PM and Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, 10 AM, both at Christ the King Catholic Church.
