Alice Georgine Wilborn Roth, age ..., daughter of Harry Dennis Wilborn and his wife, Ralphie Cornelia Carr, born March 4, 1936 in Tulsa, OK, died .........................in Tulsa. She attended Betty Rombough Private School, Lee Elementary, Horace Mann Jr. High, Tulsa Central High School (Class of 1953), and Oklahoma A&M College, majoring in Art. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Churches in Tulsa and Stillwater, OK, and Clovis, NM, Southminster Presbyterian Church and St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, in Tulsa, and member of B;nai Emunah Congregation, Tulsa. She had a varied working career as artist, secretary, salesperson and genealogy librarian. She was active in many civic organizations and served as a past vice-president of Tulsa Archeology Society and Tulsa Genealogical Society, genealogist of Scottish Club of Tulsa, past state commissioner of Clan Stewart Society in America, Tulsa Area Irish Society, member of the Greater Tulsa Epigraphic Society and Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Deborah Jean Norman Van Hook and husband, Joseph Hartwell Van Hook, of Claremore, OK; son, Morris David Roth and wife, Marichu Abrigo Magalona Roth; granddaughters, Mia Zoe Roth and Clarice Marie Roth, of Tulsa, OK; sister, Lina Sue Wilborn Cartmill and husband, Robert Hasbrouck Cartmill, of Slidell, LA; nephew, John Wilborn Cartmill, and his wife Wendy Kay Wagner Cartmill; great-nieces, June Esther Cartmill and Georgia Mae Cartmill, of Herndon, VA; nice Alice Catherine Cartmill Faciane; great-nephew, Kelly Anthony Faciane; and great-niece, Jessica Sue Faciane, of Slidell, LA; niece, Hilary Hasbrouck Cartmill Toups and husband, Daniel Lawrence Toups; great-niece, Melanie Alice Toups; and great-nephew, Eric Robert Toups, of Slidell, LA.
The family would like to thank Transitions Hospice for their care, guidance and compassion, especially her nurse Louise.
