Amanda Maureen King, age 39, died on September 1, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Amanda was born on June 13th, 1986 in Joplin, MO, to parents Michael and Aileen King. She graduated from Tahlequah High School in 2005, where she was a member of the high school Pom Squad, remembered for her bright smile, enthusiasm and joy she brought to those around her.

She went on to further her education by obtaining a degree in Nutritional Science from Oklahoma State University. During her time there, she became a member of the Kappa Delta sorority, where she formed many lasting friendships and established her commitment to service. After graduating, she attended the University of Oklahoma where she earned a degree in Dental Hygiene. In 2011, Amanda moved to Tulsa, where she began a career as a Dental Hygienist. For more than fifteen years she cared for patients with professionalism and kindness, becoming known as a bright light in her workplace and a joy to her colleagues and patients alike.

Amanda's compassion extended beyond her profession. She was deeply involved with Susan G. Komen and Project 31 for much of her life, offering encouragement and guidance to many facing cancer diagnoses. Her generosity and support touched countless lives.

Outside of her work and volunteer efforts, Amanda enjoyed running, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with friends. She especially cherished time with her three young nieces, who brought her tremendous joy. Family and friends will forever remember her as adventurous, outgoing, and always ready to lend a helping hand.

She is survived by her loving mother, Aileen King, and brother, Stephen King, and wife Jennifer along with three beloved nieces, Olivia, Caitlyn, and Isla. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael King, as well as her grandparents, Jack and Jean McGann, and Raymond and Patrica King, along with her loving and loyal dog Ollie.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her passing will leave a hole in this world that many will struggle to fill.

A funeral is scheduled for September 11th at 1pm, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with a Celebration of Life immediately following at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, OK. Flowers and/or memorial gifts can be sent to Fitzgerald's Funeral Service located at 3612 E. 91st S, Tulsa, OK.
