Amy Louise
Walsh
July 11, 1966 – May 24, 2026
Amy Louise Walsh née Allen, daughter of Howard Ervin Allen and Elizabeth Anne Allen née Carraher, passed away on May 24th of 2026 in the presence of her family. Born in St. Paul, Ne. on July 11th, 1966, Amy spent her first years living in Wolbach, Ne., moving to Arnold, Ne. and Cheyenne, Wy. with her family, and eventually ending up in Broken Arrow, Ok. She would meet her husband William F. Walsh and marry him on May 22nd, 1999. Twenty-seven years of marriage produced a son, Adam Ryan Walsh, and a daughter, Allison Renee Walsh, who meant the world to her. Amy held a multitude of jobs over her career, ranging from receptionist to housecleaner to gardener. The last of which occupied her mind and body the most, with her plants the envy of the neighborhood, featuring lilies of all types, hydrangeas, peonies, irises, gladiolus, and her beloved lilac. When not outside in the garden, she frequently reconstructed the family home, spending hours painting trim, selecting furnishings, constructing and collecting items, as well as maintaining it, converting a house into a home and then into a statement of love. She is survived by her aforementioned husband, daughter, and son, and her twelve siblings, Linda Wibbels, Mike Allen, Patty Harris, Bob Allen, Jim Allen, Dave Allen, Paul Allen, Christy Andre, Tim Allen, Mary Smith, Ben Allen, and Daniel Allen, their spouses, children, and grandchildren. An ardent Catholic, Amy died wearing the scapular of Our Lady, and requested that in lieu of flowers, donations would be made in her name to Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma or the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
