Obituary

Andrew Bradley Wood
March 31, 1995 - June 25, 2020
Andrew was born on Good Friday, March 31, 1995, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Andrew died peacefully in his sleep on June 25, 2020, at his home in New York City.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Joby Wood, his sister, Sarah Wood, and the love of his life, Anna Langhorst, as well as an infinite number of friends. Andrew is also survived by his grandparents, Tish and Joe Wood and Angie and Frank Braun, aunt and uncle, Courtney (Wood) and Andy Wright, aunt, Julie (Braun) Skrzypczak, and cousins, Matthew, Liz and John Skrzypczak.
Andrew was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He began his education at Saint Dunstan's Preschool where he made his first best friends who would be a part of his life forever. He attended the School of Saint Mary from Kindergarten through 8th Grade and then Bishop Kelley High School (Class of 2013) where he continued to acquire friends and form relationships that would endure despite time and distance. Following high school, Andrew began the most influential time of his life when he started his life as a Jayhawk at the University of Kansas. He was a brother of the Alpha Nu chapter of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He earned a BS in Accounting as well as a Masters of Accounting and found yet another set of lifelong friends through the business school and while working in the accounting department.
After graduation, Andrew moved to New York City to begin his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked for two years and was looking forward to his new position with the company in Chicago.
The things that made Andrew most happy were sharing his love of music, cooking, golfing, fishing, KU basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs, Andrew was blessed throughout his entire life with more friends than he could count and he never missed an opportunity to spend time with as many of them as he could. He was an amazing son and brother, grandson and nephew, and he kept his family entertained and laughing from the moment he came into this world. He will continue to light up the lives of those who loved him with the countless memories and stories that will keep our hearts full.
Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1 and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2.
