Our dear mother was born on March 14, 1926. She died on January 22, 2016 at the age of 89, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her parents were Salvatore Neri and Emilia Carlozzi. Anna had seven siblings, all of whom are deceased. She is survived by her son, John Termini, and daughters, Grace Stidman and Loretta Whittle. Anna's son, Salvatore, is deceased. In addition, she leaves behind ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Of Catholic faith, Anna was a nurse, retiring in 1990. She had a passion for painting and drawing, crocheting and gardening, and produced award-winning roses. She looked forward to visiting her sister, Lucy Carlino, in Florida.
Anna was a beautiful woman of strong character who deeply loved her family, and was deeply loved by them. Her striking beauty was evident, and in her early years, living in New York City, had been crowned Miss Coney Island. Her presence will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace and illuminate heaven with her loving glow.
Viewing of Anna will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a rosary immediately thereafter. Location is 3612 East 91st Street South, in Tulsa. Funeral for Anna will be on Tuesday January 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Tulsa. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, 9101 South Harvard Avenue, in Tulsa,
