Annabeth Robin
With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, the family of Annabeth Robin announces her peaceful passing on July 25th, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family after courageously facing cancer.
Annabeth lived a life rooted in faith, service, and love. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who believed the greatest acts of kindness were often the quietest - a handwritten note, a warm welcome, a thoughtful conversation, or simply being present for someone who needed encouragement. Throughout her life, she made countless people feel remembered, valued, and loved.
Born September 29th, 1952, to Louis and Priscilla Bearer, Annabeth earned a bachelor's degree in English and Education before receiving her Master of Library Science from the University of Oklahoma. She began her career as an admissions counselor at St. Gregory's College, taught English at Fairfax Public Schools, served as an assistant librarian for the Oklahoma Legislative Council, and spent more than three decades with Phillips 66 as Library Services Supervisor and Corporate Research Librarian. Her love of learning, books, and helping others made librarianship the perfect calling.
Her commitment to serving others extended far beyond her career. A longtime member of St. John Before the Latin Gate Catholic Church in Bartlesville, Annabeth faithfully served through the St. John's Women's Association and numerous community organizations. After moving to the Tulsa area, she became a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, where she continued to live out her faith through worship and service. She volunteered at her grandsons' schools, served in local libraries, and welcomed new neighbors through the neighborhood welcome committee, where her handmade cards became a heartfelt expression of hospitality. Throughout her life, she also generously gave her time to the Bartlesville Public Library, local school libraries, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts of America, Elder Care, and many other organizations that enriched her community.
Creating handmade cards was one of Annabeth's greatest joys. Family and friends looked forward to receiving her beautiful birthday, anniversary, Christmas, and "just because" cards, each one thoughtfully created and lovingly sent. Through these simple acts of kindness, she celebrated life's milestones and reminded others they were loved.
Above every accomplishment, however, was Annabeth's family. She married her beloved husband, Henry, on July 31st, 1982, beginning a marriage that would span nearly 44 wonderful years. Together they built a home filled with faith, hospitality, laughter, and unconditional love. They shared a passion for traveling the world, especially by cruise ship. They delighted not only in discovering the history and culture of each destination, but also in learning how the ships operated, often taking behind-the-scenes tours and getting to know the crew members whose hard work made each voyage memorable.
Annabeth took a genuine interest in the passions of those she loved. Whether cheering on her children and grandchildren, volunteering in their schools, or quietly supporting the organizations and causes that were important to them, she found happiness in encouraging others and celebrating what mattered most to them. Nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her family, celebrating holidays, cheering from the sidelines, and creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
Annabeth is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Henry Robin; her children, Scott and Kelsey Robin and Ben and Anna Robin; her grandchildren, Brady Jay, Weston Jack, Ellery Jo, Phoebe Judith, Polly Louise, Jacob Benjamin, and Penelope Elisabeth; her siblings, Robert and Lenora Bearer, Michael and Abbey Bearer, Susan Rahlfs, and Thomas and Karan Bearer; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, neighbors, fellow parishioners, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Priscilla Bearer, and her grandson, John Joseph Robin.
A Rosary will be prayed in Annabeth's memory at 9:30am on Saturday, August 29th at St. John Before the Latin Gate Catholic Church in Bartlesville, Okla. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30am, with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to your favorite library in Annabeth's memory. For those who wish, donations may also be made to the Tulsa City-County Library Foundation, supporting the lifelong love of reading, learning, and community that Annabeth so deeply valued.
"I will raise you up on the last day." - John 6:40
