Obituary

Aurora was a beloved mother and friend who actively worked to help her fellow man be more engaged in their community. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by son John Helton II and husband Jack Lloyd Helton; parents Aurora and Miguel Ramirez; brothers Rodolfo and Michael Ramirez; niece Cathy Coon.

Aurora is survived by devoted sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Richard Massa of Joplin, MO; loving sister-in-law Alice Ramirez of BA, OK; loyal brother Joe Ramirez of Tulsa, OK; Dear brother-in-law and wife Bill and Janine Helton of Houston, TX; daughters Cecilia "Ceci" Stansill and Bernadette Flowers with husband Steve Flowers; embraced daughters Vickie Morrison, Debbie Johnson, and Joyce Elumeme; beloved grandchildren Ashlea Marie with husband David Hoffer; Lydia Aurora with husband Paul Moore; Teresa and husband Bruce Nicholls, Sarah Flowers and John Flowers; cherished grandchildren Jackson Wyatt and Keller James Hoffer, Diego Alexander and Sofia Paloma Moore, Grant Nicholls; Loving and devoted nieces Sherry Bardwell with husband David Bardwell, Brenda Brady, Lisa Woods with husband Tony Woods; thoughtful nephews Christopher Ramirez and wife Betty of Virginia Beach, Rudolph Jr. and wife Janet of Greenwell Springs, La.

This past week was made bearable by mom's heroes in everyday life: EMSA personnel; Tulsa Fire Dept; SJH ER staff; the SJH "Aqua Team" - Dr. Hildebrand, Dr. Mathews, Dr. Tremonte; nurses and nurse aids of 9 East at SJH; as well as the traveling nurses of St. Johns Hospice: Joan, Terry, and Bobbie. Your loving care will never be forgotten. Dr. Rebecca Wackowski- our deepest gratitude for giving us 3 more wonderful years with mom.

Memorial services will be 11:30 am, Saturday, January 4th, at St. Francis Xavier - Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Tulsa. Graveside services will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
