Barbara Ann Sharp, 84, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born February 7, 1928 in Tulsa, OK to Chester and Katherine Kidd, and married Joseph Arthur Sharp, all of whom preceded her in death. Barbara was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Some of her volunteer activities included the Girl Scouts of America and Tulsa County Bar Auxiliary. Along with her husband Joe, she was one of the founding members of the Church of St. Mary in Tulsa, OK. She is survived by: daughters, Katherine Pickup, Tulsa, OK, and Mary Johnson and husband, Peter, Estes Park, CO; sons, Joseph Sharp, Jr., Houston, TX and John Sharp, Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Robert Pickup and wife Rhonda, Barbara Pickup, Katrina Plassmeyer and husband Curt, Juliann Kraft, and Jeff, Chris and Kevin Johnson; great-grandchildren Raelynn Pickup, Ava and Addison Plassmeyer; and caregivers Crystal Hamilton and Sandra Peterson. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Catholic Charities or the Saint Francis of Assisi Tuition Assistance Trust. Rosary will be Thursday, February 23, 2012, at 7 pm, in the Chapel at the Church of St. Mary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 24, 2012, at 10 am, at the Church of St. Mary.
