Barbara Juana Shelton Hubbs was born to Henry Francis Shelton and Maggie Mildred Chrisman Shelton, in Tulsa, OK on November 26, 1921.She was ninth of eleven children. She was the last of these generations. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, George Willis Hubbs. She is survived by her children: daughter, Diane Villines and husband Elton of Broken Arrow, son David and wife Rachel of Bradenton, Florida, and son Don and wife Sheryl of Mustang, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Holly, Matthew, Philip, Heather and Hanna. Great-grandchildren: Harper, Violet and Hadley, and another coming later this year. She had two fine grandsons-in-law, Pete Edwards and Michael Horton, and numerous, dear nieces and nephews.

Barbara was 93-1/2 years old when she left us. She was a lifelong Tulsan. She and George were married at Eastside Christian Church. In later years, they were members of Brookhaven Christian Church. She continued that membership after George passed, until the church closed in 2014. The Brookhaven fellowship was dear to her. The close friends within her church community, stayed close to the end. Over the years, she was a member of the Tulsa Garden Center, and various garden clubs. She participated in PTA as her children were growing up. She played golf for many years, and bridge for at least 65 years.

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend.
