Obituary

Barbaralee Alexander 76 of Jenks, OK went to be with our Heavenly Father on June 13th, 2019.

She was born June 11th, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to Ernest and Lee Diana. She was the oldest of 4 children, Barbaralee, Ernest Jr., Steven, and Michael.

Barbaralee graduated from Maryview nursing school in 1963, in Portsmouth, VA.  She had four children that she adored.  Richard Kirk Williams and his wife, Carrie, Dr. Curtis Brian Williams and his wife, Leslie, Dianna Michele Brown and Christina Marie Eberle and her husband, Lance. She was an amazing Grandma to nine beautiful grandchildren, Hannah, Jake and Noah Williams, Melissa, Cameron, Karsen Brown and Megan, Mason and Madelin Eberle.

Barbaralee devoted her life to her children. After moving to Tulsa in 1979, she raised them on her own and worked hard to provide for them.  Barbaralee dedicated her life to her nursing career, which spanned over 50 years of serving others. She would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  In retirement, she loved spending more time with her grandchildren.  She also loved gardening and was totally content if she could sit in her garden, planting flowers and pulling weeds. You could often find her crocheting and making afghans for everyone she knew. She also loved her dogs, who became her second children. She enjoyed watching Disney movies and loved anything colored pink. She enjoyed reading, mostly books on her Catholic faith, with her favorite being the Bible. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Bernard's Catholic church for over 30 years. She found joy when she joined the Prayer Shawl ministry and the Rosary making group through the church, as well as, making friends in the Madcap Madams.

Despite her failing health these past few years, she never gave into her limitations and pushed through numerous health obstacles. Her willingness to live, along with her independence, was admired by all. She left an amazing legacy in those she touched, especially in her grandchildren. She was extremely loved and will be deeply missed.
