Dad Loved family gatherings went to any activity the children had. He loved the Boston Red Sox and the Arkansas Razorbacks, he traveled many miles to watch his teams play. One of his favorite activities was yelling at umpires, the ones in Tulsa all knew him and he was tossed out of many games.

Bernie was proud to serve his country during WWII, on a submarine in the South Pacific. He was a radar technician and there were 140 in his graduating class, only 10 survived the war. Dad met Mom in Clarksville, AR and they married in 1945. They had 5 children but treated nieces, nephews and friends as their own. Dispensing love, advice and punishment equally.
Dad was Irish and certainly kissed the Blarney Stone and was blessed by the fairies. He worked for 42 years for Perault Brothers, CRC Crose and lastly CRC Evans Pipeline Equipment Company making many friends all over the world. There were many nights when Mom had to make a quick adjustment to feed the friends that visited Tulsa.
