Beryl Marie Smith passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in Tulsa, OK. She was born August 22, 1931 in Johnstown, PA to Russell Clark Peer and Dorothy Blanche Peer Seitz but grew up in Bolivar, PA. She attended nurses training at Zoar Home in Pittsburg, PA and became a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio in 1951. She married Walter William Smith on July 6, 1962, at his passing they had been married 41 years. She was a member of Living Oaks Baptist Church and was retired from Hillcrest Medical Center.

Beryl was preceded in death by; her husband, parents, son Wayne Allen Smith, brother, Donald Russell Peer and sister, Cecelia Ann McNally. She is survived by; children William (Rusty) Smith and wife Kathy of Arkansas, Cynthia Marie Finley and husband Roger of Broken Arrow and Larry Christopher Smith and wife Deanna of Tulsa; sisters, Delores Jean Marino, Bolivar, PA and Margaret Blanche Steele, Seward, PA; grandchildren, Kevin Hogue and wife Shelley, Micah Finley, Jenna Finley and Dillon Smith; great-grandchildren, Kalley Hogue, Samuel Hogue and Benjamin Hogue and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, July 15, 2011 and a memorial service will be 2:00pm Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Heatherridge Baptist Church, 6901 E. 91st St., Tulsa, OK and officiated by: Chaplain Chris Finley, Director of Chaplain Services, Baptist Village Communities, Oklahoma City.
