Obituary
Betty Lou Grabel, 77, passed away May 19, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. Born June 2, 1934 in Tulsa, OK to Claude and Evelyn Sechler. She was a retired real estate agent for Patterson Realtors.
Throughout her life, Betty found joy in all things and always brought a smile to those who encountered her. For many years, Betty was actively involved with the Tulsa Figure Skating Club and the Miss Oklahoma Pageant.
Preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bill Sechler, her husbands, Manuel Grabel and Ralph Grabel, her daughter, Sally Swank, her son, Jay Grabel, and her son-inlaw, Chip Turner.
Betty is survived by her daughter Nanette and son-in-law Cleve Stubblefield of Tulsa, her daughter Betsy and son-in-law Gerry Jackson of Tulsa, her sister, Suzanne Belmont of Palm Springs, California, and her grandchildren, Katie Turner of Brooklyn, New York, USMC Lance Corporal Chase and Jordynn Stubblefield of Camp Jejune, North Carolina, and Patrick Turner and Haylee Stubblefield of Tulsa, OK.
A memorial service will be held at Temple Israel in Tulsa, OK on Monday, May 21, 2012, at 12:00 p.m.
