Bill Russell Williams passed away in his home Tuesday, July 13, 2021.
A Tulsa native, Bill spent the past 35 years on the shores of Keystone Lake in the home he built for his family. A pipefitter by profession, Bill was also a landscape artist, aviator, welder, mechanic, award-winning barbecue master, and electrical expert.
Bill was recognized by all who knew him as a true original. His lifelong passions included jazz and rock and roll (drummer), roller skating, and chasing adrenaline on his motorcycle, hot rods, and water skis. He is also remembered as a walking dictionary, chess player, and classical music enthusiast.
Later in life, he achieved his goal of becoming a pilot and enjoyed flying his Mooney across the region.
While it is impossible to summarize his 9 lives and numerous accomplishments in just a few words, Bill is remembered as a one-of-a-kind soul who pursued his dreams with creativity and focus until his final days.
Bill is survived by his wife, Jill, his daughter Amanda (wife, Jess), his 2 siblings, and extended family and friends.
A private memorial at his home is pending.
