Billy Gene Taylor.
Bill passed away Friday, February 10th. Bill was born in Florence, Colorado on July 14, 1925 to Charles U. and Eva Taylor. Bill graduated from Seminole High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving in the Pacific Theatre.
After the war, he returned to Seminole and married the love of his life, Earnestine. They celebrated their 70th anniversary in August. In the early 50's, Bill had several jobs in the Tulsa construction industry. Bill was a Master Carpenter/Craftsman. Most called him an artist, as he could build anything. With this background, Bill and Earnestine took the leap and started Taylor Construction Company, building many commercial buildings in and around Tulsa. Bill retired in 1988 and moved to Lake Hudson where he was very active in the South Grand Lake Christian Church.
Bill is survived by his wife Earnestine; son, Charles "Chuck" and wife Teresa; granddaughter Heather Warden and her husband David; two great-grand children who he loved deeply, Emma and Chase, dear friend Georgette Taylor and sister Marie Ducasse.
Bill had many health issues over the past fifteen years and the family would like to thank Dr. Brent Dennis his health care provider and Dr. Gold his nephrologist, as well as the dedicated staff at St. Francis Dialysis who treated him with such skill and compassion.
