Brenda Christine Brinkmeyer was born on December 30, 1957 to Clarence and Christine Marshall in McAlester, Oklahoma. She attended McAlester High School and graduated in 1976. After graduation, she studied pre-pharmacy at Southeastern Durant. Brenda then went on to the OU Pharmacy School where she graduated as Valedictorian of her class with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1981. She married Michael Loy Dean Brinkmeyer on April 3, 1982. They have two sons, Kyle Michael , age 18, and Cameron Lee, age 13. Brenda was actively involved in Faith United Methodist Church as a Sunday School teacher and volunteer. She loved every activity involving her two boys. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Christine. She is survived by her husband, Mike; two sons, Kyle and Cameron; brother, Dr. Monte Marshall, his wife, Lucy, and children, Kyle and Cindy; father and mother-in-law, Bill and DeLores McBee; sister-in-law Cindy Muse, her husband Mike, and children, Jenna and Megan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to Faith United Methodist Church Youth Fund. Services will be held at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E 91st St, Tulsa, OK at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. A reception will follow at Faith United Methodist Church.
