Brenda Miller Magoon was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 31, 1939 and passed away on October 9, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Magoon; her three children, Debbie Brown, Doug Magoon, Sharna Bovasso and son-in-law Steve; and her loving grandchildren: Ashley, Katilyn, Blake, and Ali.

Brenda was an active member and philanthropist in her community. She was an avid advocate for animal rights, volunteering much of her time and efforts for the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals. Brenda was also a board member of the Tulsa Jewish Retirement Center, a founding member of the Miller Hospice in Tulsa, and contributed to the revitalization of multiple pools in North Tulsa.

Collecting antiques was one of Brenda's many passions. This led to her opening Glasstique, an upscale china and gift boutique. She loved working with her best friends and having a successful business for over 20 years in her hometown.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 14th at 12:00 noon at Temple Israel, 2004 East 22nd Place. A light lunch will follow the services.
