Bryant Clifford "Barney" Frihart, devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away 11/13/2010.
Born 6/14/28 in Richland Center, WI to Bryant & Maude (Farley) Frihart. The oldest of three sons, he graduated high school from Field Kinley HS, Coffeyville, KS in 46'. He attended Coffeyville Jr. College from 46' to 48', later attended and graduated from The University of Tulsa in 51' with a BS in Petroleum Engineering. After graduating from TU, he enlisted and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 51'to 54'. After serving in the Marines, he was employed by Cities Service Oil Company where he retired as the VP of Governmental Affairs after 35 years of service. His first of many promotions landed him in New York City where he met and married Ruth Siegele, his wife of 54 years. Preceded in death by his parents and his middle brother Dale. Survived by wife Ruth, youngest brother Neil, sons Bryant (Ellen) of Tulsa, Matthew (Peggy) of Dallas, TX and James (Carol) of Atlanta, GA as well as 6 grandchildren Rose Marie, Ruth Ann, Tabor, Madison, Sam and Bryant. A memorial service will be held at Fitzgerald Southwood Chapel @ 3612 E. 91st Street South Tulsa, OK 74137 on Friday November 26th at 10:30 AM.
