Obituary
Carol Josephine Anderson passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 9th, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was born to Joseph and Mary Meenahan on March 19th, 1931 in New York, New York. She went on to graduate from Dominican Academy in 1949. On February 5th, 1955 she married James Anderson, who preceded her in death in 1983. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John "Jack" Meenahan, and is survived by her brother, Richard "Dick" Meenahan.
During her lifetime, she resided in Breezy Point, New York, Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her hobbies included knitting, reading, watching Jeopardy!, and solving The New York Times crossword puzzle. She also cared deeply for her dogs, Hogan and Harry.
Carol Josephine Anderson is survived by her children: Richard Anderson (New York, NY), Carol "Cissy" Cook (Mason Morton; Tulsa, OK), David Anderson (Vanesa Masucci; Tulsa, OK), John Anderson (Sara Anderson; Hendersonville, TN), and Barbara Oven (Peter Oven; Broken Arrow, OK), her grandchildren: Dylan, Liam, Justin, Kiel, & Damon Anderson and their mother, Carol Shea Anderson (New York, NY), Stephan (Rochelle) and Carolen Cook (Tulsa, OK), Joe Masucci, Lucy Martin, Ian and Joseph Anderson (Hendersonville, TN), and Meaghan, Lauren, and Christopher Oven (Broken Arrow, OK), and her great-grandchildren: Joseph, Jacob, and Jaycee Cook (Tulsa, OK).
