Carol Janet Dick, age 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by family. She was born January 7, 1940 in Stigler, OK to JD and Reba (Hisaw) Moss. She was a 1957 graduate of Tulsa Central High School and attended the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Carol married Robert Dick on October 4, 1958; they had three children, Tamara Benson of Tulsa, OK, Leslie Dick (Mike Bradshaw) of Jenks, OK and Robert Dick (Tom Fulkerson) of Atlanta, GA. She married James Douthat on July 10, 1986 and her family expanded to include two stepchildren, Ric Douthat of Jenks, Oklahoma and Diane (Charles) Finch of Tulsa, OK.

Carol was a talented florist and savvy business woman, opening her first floral studio, Baltimore Florist in Tulsa, OK in 1977, and Aviva Flowers & More on Cherry Street in 1981 until her retirement in 2008. She served as President of the Oklahoma State Florists Association and was one of only two Master Floral Designers in Oklahoma.

In addition to her children and stepchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, Carol is survived by: brother, Roger Moss and wife Sharon of Coweta, OK and sister Loretta Harrison and husband Bill of Jacksonville, FL; and eight beautiful grandchildren, Dr. Molly DuBois and husband Colin of Oklahoma City, OK, Patrick Benson of Tulsa, OK, Spencer Hollaway of San Jose California, Elliott Hollaway of Bixby, OK, JG Douthat of Jenks, OK, Maria Douthat of Tulsa, OK, Hannah Douthat of Tulsa, OK and Will Douthat of Commerce, MI. She has one great-granddaughter who was her joy and "baby girl", Hazel Hollaway, of Bixby, OK.

She will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 11, 2020, 1:30 p.m., at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, followed by entombment services at Memorial Park Cemetery.
