Carol Ann Franczyk, a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on May 7, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 76 years old.

Carol Ann was born on October 3, 1949, in Ephrata, Washington, to the late George and Dorthy Dunn. A woman of curiosity and ambition from an early age, attending Dreux American School in France, an experience that ignited a lifelong love of travel, art, and cultural exploration. She graduated from Alamogordo High School and went to the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

On August 30, 1969, Carol Ann married Phillip Franczyk, and together they built a life shaped by adventure, dedication, and deep family bonds. After having three children, their journey took them across the country, including years spent in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from1979 to 1983, and Fort Worth, Texas, from 1983 to 1996, before eventually settling in Tulsa. Wherever she lived, Carol Ann made her mark through her tireless energy, her generous spirit, and her gift for bringing people together.

A wonderful artist with a keen eye for beauty, Carol Ann was passionate about painting and antiques. She served as a docent at both the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth and the Philbrook Art Museum in Tulsa, sharing her love of the arts with countless children & visitors. Her commitment to community extended well beyond the museum walls. She was an active member of the Junior League and the Mapleridge Antique Club, and she was known as an avid volunteer who gave freely of her time and talents.

Those who knew Carol Ann best would describe her as feisty, sassy, and driven, a tireless mother who poured her whole heart into her family. She was the proud grandmother of six grandsons (Charlie, Phillip, Thomas, Matthew, Samuel, Peter), each of whom brought her tremendous joy.

Carol Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip Franczyk; her parents, George and Dorthy Dunn; and her brother, Robert Dunn. She is survived by her son, Lance Franczyk; her daughter, Kelly Goza; her son, Brian Franczyk; her sister, Debra Keller; and her brother, Charles Dunn. Carol Ann's faith provided her with comfort and strength throughout her life, and her family finds peace in knowing she rests now in the loving arms of her Lord with her husband, Phil, and those who went before her.

Visitation will be held at Fitzgerald's Southwood Colonial Chapel on Friday, May 15th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Services will follow on Saturday, May 16, at 9:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel.
