Carol Ann (Mahoney) Pinion, 65
Carol Ann Pinion died Tuesday, May 24, 2016. She was born June 2, 1950, in Tulsa, the daughter of William and Norma Jean Mahoney.
Carol graduated from Bishop Kelley High School in 1968 and majored in English at the University of Tulsa.
She was united in marriage with Michael E. Pinion on November 12, 2012. A lifelong resident, Carol worked in retail and volunteered throughout Tulsa after raising her children. In her spare time, she enjoyed her dogs, gardening, reading, travelling and spending time with friends, family and most of all her beloved grandsons.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Pinion; three children, Andrew Wheeler, Sydney Walker and her husband Zachary Walker and her stepson, Philip E. Pinion; two grandchildren, Tyler and Braden Walker of Tulsa; her father, William Mahoney of Tulsa; her brother, William Mahoney, Jr. and his wife Catherine; and her dogs (aka "The Blondes"), Frosty and Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Mahoney.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27 at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary, 1347 E. 49th Place, Tulsa, OK. The family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers at St. Francis, St. John and Clarehouse. Fitzgerald Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements, 918-291-3500.
