Cervantes, Catarino (Cato) 98, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born December 25, 1912 to Paz and Nestor Cervantes in Dow, Oklahoma. Cato served in pre-war C. C. Camp, worked as a coalminer and retired from Oklahoma Steel Castings after 30 years of service. He was former owner of Casa Monterrey Mexican Restaurant. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and his wife Sarah, sons, Frank and Edward Cervantes. He is survived by a brother; Albert Cervantes, sons; Tommy and Robert Cervantes both of Tulsa, daughters; Linda Cervantes of Tulsa and Betty Bowles and her Husband Charles of Broken Arrow, OK, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A rosary will be said 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and service will be held 2:00 p. m. Thursday both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 291-3500.
