Cathy Covington, 74, passed peacefully on November 30, 2025 in her home. She was born on December 19, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Southwest Oklahoma State University and later pursued a master's degree in business and administration at Eastern Michigan University.


Cathy most enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved dogs. She was active in her community as president of the Tulsa Garden Club, board member of the Tulsa Garden Society, board member for her neighborhood's homeowner's association, and faithful member of the Catholic Church.


Those who knew her remember her spirit of generosity, her lively nature, and the kindness and warmth she extended to all she met.


Cathy is survived by her twin sister Cristy Holmes and her siblings Johnny Holmes and wife DeeDee, Sally Ellzey and husband Gavin, and Jip Holmes and wife Tracy. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Kendra Morrison and husband Troy, Michael Holmes and wife Mallory, Casey Chonka and husband Zach, Kelsey McManus and husband Zach, Cameron Holmes and wife Katie, and Sara Branham and husband Robert. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews Ava and Donovan Morrison, Meryl and Mason Holmes, Frannie and Fitz Chonka, Cooper and Eleanor McManus, and Amelia Holmes.


She is preceded in death by her parents Amelia and John Holmes.


The love and light Cathy shared with each of us will live on through the legacy she leaves behind.
