Charles L. "Chuck" Scott, passed away from this life on April 23, 2025, at the age of 95, with peace and presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in his heart. He was a beloved and respected son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Born February 23, 1930, in Norman, OK, he was the only child of educators/ranchers Lee L. and Olyva (Coppers) Scott. Chuck was an amazing man and did so much. He participated in many extracurricular activities and organizations. He graduated from Vinita High School in 1948, and in 1952 completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The University of Tulsa. Upon graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He served as a Special Agent with the Office of Special Investigations (OSI). After being honorably discharged from service, he attended the University of California at Los Angeles and received his MBA in 1957. When life handed him leadership, he wholehearted accepted the process not for its recognition but how its positive attributes could provide better tomorrows for family and community, and loving the people he'd meet along the way.
Always one to share a joke, a story, a word of advice or talk about TU sports, Chuck never knew a stranger. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy of laughter and love.
Continuing on to cherish his memory, Chuck leaves his loving and supportive wife of 65 years, Ginny; his son, Darren; his daughter, Alicia and her husband, Robert; his granddaughter, Cheryl and her husband, Franco, along with his two great-granddaughters, Lucia and Sofia; his niece, Cindy and her husband Dick and nephew Bruce and wife Suzanne. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Stephen, two infant grandsons, Jonathan and James along with his sister-in-law Joy.
The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Montereau Independent and Assisted Living along with St. Francis Hospital for their loving care and support.
