Charles was born on May 7, 1941 in Houston, Texas and passed away on April 3, 2026 at his home in Bixby, Oklahoma
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hortense Malinak Faigle and Charles Joseph Faigle Sr. as well as his son Craig Joseph Faigle.
Charles is survived by his wife Patricia LaCount Faigle of the home, five daughters, Andrea Crook and husband Mark, Lisa Brewer and Husband Dennis, Kari McBroom and husband R.D., Tricia LaCount and Margo Ruff. Also two sons, Victor LaCount and wife Pam, Damon Faigle and wife Laurie.
He was blessed with 16 grandchildren; Brittany Russell and Kenny, Joel LaCount, Tiffany Scantlin and Matthew, Joseph Crook and Sandee, Andrew Crook, Matthew Crook and Amanda, Jordan Crook. Whitney LaCount Jones and fiance Brian Murphy, Lauren Robinson and Jesse, Aaron Schroeder and Alix, Dagan Schroeder and Shelby, Tristan Barlow, Brynlee Faigle, Aiden Ruff, Ashton Ruff, and Austin Ruff.
He was also survived by his brother Jerry Faigle (Lois) his sister Mary Ann Minto (Bill), and had 20 delightful great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
Charles grew up in Houston and began working as a paper delivery boy at the age of 14 while he was a sophomore in Aldine High School. In one year he increased his route subscriptions from 44 to 138 winning a Cushman motor scooter and three bicycles. He later gave up his route to play junior varsity football at Aldine.
After high school he attended the university of Houston, graduating in 1962. During college he worked for Gulf Oil as a tour guide, and after graduation he went to work for Gulf in the accounting department. He joined the Air National Guard from 1964-1970. While with Gulf he was transferred to Nashville and Atlanta then back to Houston.
In 1985 Gulf was purchased by Chevron and he chose not to stay with them. He was invited by Ron Hall to join CITGO Petroleum in Tulsa, Oklahoma to be part of his team as Manager over Business Services. Two years later he was promoted to General Manager over Customer Service for both the Lubricants and Light Oils Divisions. In 2006 he retired after 31 years of service.
While at CITGO Petroleum in Tulsa, he met the love of his life, Patricia LaCount and they married in 1990. He immediately welcomed all of her children and grandchildren and loved them as his own. Charles and Patty purchased a home at Grand Lake in 1998 to have a central point for all the family and friends to enjoy time together as often as possible.
Charles was a member of the Tulsa Men's Club for several years and served on the board for a period of time.
In recent years Charles and Patty found a new church home, St. James. They were welcomed in as family and have been greatly supported by them during this time.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 7 from 5 - 7 pm at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. The funeral service will follow 11 am Wednesday, April 8 at Saint James Church.
