Obituary

Charlotte Wilson, age 84, passed on September 19, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Charlotte was born on July 31, 1939, in Jackson, TN, to parents Ives Robert and Ona Louise (Cantrell) Magill. She had one sister, Nancy Ona Magill Browning. She graduated from Jackson High School in the class of 1957 then furthered her education by attending Union University. Charlotte was an entrepreneur who spent most of her life in Tennessee. She was the owner/broker of Hamilton Hills Realty in Jackson. She was the founder and director of Sun Enterprises, a diversified Christian ministry, owner/broker of New Venture Realty, author of several books, and hosted radio programs in West and East Tennessee.
Charlotte was deeply passionate about her faith in Jesus Christ, her family, her friends, and her country. She devoted her life to serving others in big and small ways depending on the need. Charlotte spoke to large audiences and to small groups in nursing homes. She was politically active and a member of the Republican Senatorial Inner Circle and local Republican Women chapters. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind but bold southern lady. She will be missed.
She is survived by her children Lisa Bowman (Beau) and Catherine Cox and by two stepchildren, Tracy Wilson Galfsky and Amy Wilson Carson. Her grandchildren are Johnny Bowman (Jamie), Stephen Bowman (Laura), Anna Bowman Whitehouse (James), Sarah Hall Siebrecht, Seth Hall, Sam Hall, Simon Hall. She was the great grandmother to Kate Bowman, Elizabeth Bowman, Charlotte Bowman, Avery Bowman, Jenny Bowman, a brand-new great granddaughter, Dolly Kay Bowman, born on September 19, Sophia Siebrecht Grolneck, Phoebe Siebrecht, Noah Siebrecht, Lily Siebrecht and Liam Hall. Charlotte is also survived by her former husband, George Wilson and her brother-in-law and friend, Clay Browning.
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Monday, September 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Fitzgerald Funeral Home is located at 3612 East 91st Street South in Tulsa. Family viewing and graveside service will be prior to the Celebration of Life Service. Flowers can be sent to Fitzgerald's.
