It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Clara Scarlett Brummett, who left us too soon on April 10, 2025, at the tender age of one. Clara was born on March 11, 2024, and from the very start, she brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives.
Clara was a perfect little girl, characterized by her boundless curiosity and adventurous spirit. With an insatiable desire to explore, she could often be found sneaking away to nibble on her favorite toys, particularly her colorful LEGOs. Her radiant smile could brighten any room, and her infectious laughter was a testament to her joyful nature.
She loved bouncing more than anything else and was eagerly learning to walk, showcasing her excitement for the adventures that lay ahead. Clara shared an unbreakable bond with her brother and sister, who were her favorite companions in the world. Their laughter and joy transcended the everyday, creating an irreplaceable bond of love.
Clara cherished her family, relishing moments spent reading and laughing with her mom and dad, and creating memories will all of her family. She loved spending time with her caregivers at her daycare reading books and laughing at everything. She brought sunshine to every gathering and was truly loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though Clara's time with us was far too short, her spirit will forever remain in our hearts. We take comfort in the joy she brought to our lives and the love she spread to everyone she encountered. Clara's legacy of happiness, curiosity, and unconditional love will always be remembered.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Julie and Troy Brummett; her cherished siblings, Thea and Declan Brummett of the home; and her loving grandparents: Debbie "DD" Buddrus, Lee "Granddaddy" Buddrus, Nancy "Auncy" Stafford, and Rita "Mia" Brummett. Also mourning her loss is her beloved great-grandmother, Charlotte "Nanny" Whaley.
Clara was deeply loved by her aunts, uncles, and cousins: Jessica and John Walker and their children, Jaxon and Jerra; Lee Ann and Brian Tolle and their children, Riley and Joshua; Ryan and Amanda Brummett and their children, James and Chase. She will also be remembered fondly by many second cousins and extended family members, who were all touched by her warmth and spirit.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather Keiv "Papa Keiv" Brummett, and her great grandmother Maricie Smith, all of whom surely welcomed her with open arms.
We invite all who loved Clara to join us in remembering the brightness she brought to our lives, be like Clara and share your sunshine with the world.
