A beloved angel of God was called home on January 30, 2015. Connie M. Stewart, age 64, departed for Heaven leaving behind two children, Monica Smereck and Brian Hensley; a sister, Brenda Hanchett, and brothers, Frederick Rose and Lloyd Wayne Rose. She was also survived by her step-mom, Fran Rose and her four grandchildren Matthew Freeman, Ethan Hensley, Ember Hensley and Danika Chisholm; and, many nieces and nephews. Connie will also leave behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be greeted in Heaven by her parents Floyd Rose, Dorothy Hardesty-Lapp, her husband John Stewart and brothers, Daryl Dobbs, and Jerry Dobbs. Connie Stewart was born in Herlong, CA in 1950 and worked as a flight attendant for Continental Airlines during the last seventeen years of her life. Connies passions in life were helping others and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren who were her greatest joy. A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel at 91st and Harvard in Tulsa on Saturday, February 7th at 10:30 a.m.
