Constance "Connie" Louise Morgan passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 surrounded by her family. Connie was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 20, 1936 to George and Virginia Posthuma. She graduated from McHenry High School in McHenry, Ill. She moved to Tulsa in 1957.
Connie lived in the same home for 50 years where she raised her 5 children. She was a business owner for over 30 years. Connie attended Tulsa Community College and The University of Tulsa. She was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved to travel, especially to her hometown of Chicago, which she visited as often as possible, as her heart was always there. Connie loved to decorate and entertain for the holidays and was the perfect host of her annual Memorial Day party.
She was the beloved sister of Diane (Kurt) Lauer and Georgie (Russ) Hopp; Devoted mother of Raymond (Cora) Morgan, Pamela (Michael) Worth, Scott (Teresa) Morgan, Keith Morgan, and Bradley Morgan; Cherished grandmother of Dana Morgan, Brandon Worth, Christopher Morgan, Brent Morgan, Michelle Worth, Mark Morgan, Timothy Nelson, Dustin Morgan, Matt Worth, Heather Kinney and Hannah Nelson; Also great-grandmother of Mackenzie, Taylor, Beau, Briley, Gabby, Bella, Cameron, Jacob and Braden; and aunt to many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A viewing will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and the Rosary at 7:00 p.m., both Tuesday, November 20 at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary, 1347 East 49th Place, Tulsa, OK.
