Cuong Chi Hoang, age 48, died at the St. Francis Hospital Medical ICU, Saturday March 3rd, 2018 after complications from leukemia. His father, Dieu Hoang, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Roseanne, three daughters Chloe, Molly, and Aubrey, his mother Yen Hoang, brothers Young and his wife Perre, Thanh and his wife Thanh and Victor. Cuong is also survived by two sisters Uyen and Annie along with her husband Paul. Cuong, of course, was surrounded with several nieces and nephews. Cuong lived the American dream. His family immigrated from Saigon, Vietnam and made Tulsa, Oklahoma their home in 1975. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School and graduated from Will Rogers High School as Class Salutatorian. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and completed his CPA license in 1997. The experience he received at the Tulsa accounting practice of Magee, Rausch, & Shelton, helped him reach one of his goals when he acquired his own practice at Morse & Co., CPAs in 2006. His most beloved and happiest moments, however, were not at the office, but at home with his family. Cuong was a devoted husband to Roseanne and an attentive, hands-on dad to his girls. He loved coaching his daughters Chloe' and Aubrey's School of St. Mary's basketball teams, and if he wasn't coaching Molly's soccer team, he paced up and down the sidelines encouraging her all the way. He was a loyal brother to his five siblings and a loving uncle to their children. He also had the admiration and love of his in-laws, the Abrogar family: Ernesto, Rosemary, and Ernest. Lastly, Cuong had the respect of his colleagues and friends because he lived each day deliberately, with passion and integrity. Anyone who truly knew Cuong, loved him. In Memory of Cuong, the Family Requests that a Donation be Made to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church or Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School.
