Daniel (Danny) Cochran Smith
Danny Smith of Tulsa, OK went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 10, 2012 at the age of 78. Always positive and wearing a smile, he fought a good fight from cancer for more than two years. Danny was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on November 25, 1933 to George D. Bourland and Geraldine C. Wisby, who both preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Smith, of the home, daughters Diana Szeszulski (Jerry) of Tulsa, Gerilynne Graves (Tim) of Oklahoma City, one brother Phillip Bourland (Paula-Kay), four sisters Judy Cummings (Jim), Mary Jo Hamilton, Linda Eaton, Janet Wisby, three grandchildren Kristi Szeszulski, Jeremy Szeszulski, Triston Graves and one great grandchild Fiona Callie Szeszulski. He was retired from Allstate Insurance after 30 years of service and worked for Chick-fil-A as an Ambassador for 8 years. Visitation will be at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E. 91st S. Tulsa, OK 74137 on Sunday May 13 from 4:00-6:00 pm. His Celebration Service will take place on Monday, May 14 at 2:00pm at Central Church of the Nazarene located at 7291 E. 81st St. Tulsa, OK 74133.
