Obituary

Our beloved Father, Papa and friend departed peacefully at home in Tulsa, OK at the age of 89, to be with his Heavenly Father. He was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, by Angelo & Mary Rosato who both immigrated to the United States from Italy through Ellis Island. Dan graduated from Creighton Preparatory School in 1941. He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
Dan joined the United States Navy at the age of nineteen. He served in World War II attached to the 4th Marine Division during their landing in Iwo Jima where he received a commendation for rescue operations. He had a perfect record of conduct the entire time and received several recommendations for advancement.
Dan held several positions in the oil & gas industry with Williams Brothers Pipeline, Champlin Petroleum, PT&T, Gary Petroleum, and NGL. He was a life member at The Oaks Country Club. He enjoyed Golf, Texas Rangers Baseball and Dallas Cowboys Football, but his family always came first.
Dan was survived by his 5 daughters, Linda & Grady Hentz, Julie Ford, Darcy & David May, Nancy & Chuck Sidler, Cathy & Jim Meehan, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Rosato, his parents Angelo & Mary Rosato, his sister Ann Dourgarian, and his grandson Justin Ford. He is lovingly reunited with his true love and family.
