Obituary
Danny Zeligson, 63, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 11, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer.
Danny was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 3, 1953, to Phyllis and Bob Zeligson. Like his father, Danny dedicated each day of his life to doing more for others and less for himself. He was humble and steadfast in helping those around him - from family and friends, to friends' kids and kid's friends, to distant acquaintances and complete strangers in need.
Absent pretense and judgement, Danny embraced everyone he encountered. In turn, they embraced him and regarded him as one of the kindest souls they have ever known.
Danny is survived by "his girls": his wife, Debbie Zeligson; their daughter, Kate Zeligson; his sister, Karen Zeligson; and his four-legged companion, Roxy Zeligson.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Danny's wish is for you to do something kind for someone in need.
Funeral services will be held at B'nai Emunah Synagogue on Monday, February 13 at 11:00 am, followed by burial at Rose Hill Cemetery (New Section).
