David Wayne Hope, age 63, died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was born on November 3, 1959 in Yale, Oklahoma to parents Thomas Wayne and Effie Myrtle Hope. He graduated from Central High School in the class of 1978, then furthered his education by obtaining a degree as a General Contractor - Construction Management. He established his company - European Carpentry in 1991 and continued his business to present.
On May 14, 1983 he married the love of his life - Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" Hope. They made their home in Tulsa where they reside today.
He was deeply involved with his faith, family and friends. He was a very strong man of many talents, but will be remembered most as a loving husband, wonderful father and an amazing grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie, son, Jacob and daughter-in-law, Amanda, daughter, Leah and son-in-law, Travis Taber. He has two grandchildren; Gabriel Hope and Stella Taber, both of whom refer to him as "Papa".
He has four wonderful sisters and bothers-in-law; Janice and Howard Clark, of Yale, Oklahoma, Janey Hope and Thomas Hyatt, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Patty and John Cramer, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Carolyn and Michael Regen, of Franklin, Tennessee, and multiple in-laws from the Holt family, aunts and uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins, all of whom he loved and cherished.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Thomas Wayne and Effie Myrtle Hope.
