David Thornton passed away on October 8, 2016. He was survived by: his loving wife Mary Thornton; two sisters, Charlotte Creech and Mary Gwen Dodson; and brother, Gary Thornton.


David and Mary were married 13 years. They enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson, going to Webster Football games (where Mary teaches) and Jenks Football (where their nephew and niece attended school), and attending movies with friends. Another of their past times, was spending time with their nephew Gregory and their niece Katie. David thoroughly enjoyed being a "gamer", which stemmed from his profession as a computer programmer.


Mary and David lived a full life and his presence will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Monday, October 10, 2016, from 6 until 8 p.m., and Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 11, 2016, 2:00 p.m., both at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 South Boulder Avenue in Tulsa. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
