Deborah Johnson (Debbie), age 67, died on November 9th, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Debbie was a very loved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.
Debbie was born on June 4, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Roy and Ireta Smith. She graduated from Monte Casino. Debbie married John Johnson and they made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had two daughters who were both cherished and loved. In 1991 Debbie and her family established Transit Services Inc. She would spend the next 30 years running the company she so dearly loved. Anyone who ever worked for her was considered family. She was a woman of strong faith. In her spare time Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, decorating and being on the beach every chance she got. Debbie's family and friends will always remember her joyful, loving and selfless nature. She touched the hearts of anyone who knew her.
Debbie is survived by her two daughters Jennifer Haynes and her husband Mike of Tulsa and Julia Evans and her husband Brandon of Tulsa; Her step mother Judy Smith of Tulsa; brothers David Smith of Tulsa and Steve Smith of Tulsa, Sister Kelly Bramlett of Phoenix; Her grandchildren Katelyn Haynes, Madilyn Haynes, Victoria Evans, Alexander Evans, Nicholas Evans and Elyse Mullins; as well as loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was proceeded in death by her husband John Johnson and her parents Ireta Tarwater and Roy Smtih.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Holy Family Cathedral. Flowers can be sent to Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. Also, if you would like, Donations can be made to Catholic Charities.
