Deborah Marcene Erker, aged 73, passed away on June 11, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on August 12, 1949, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Melvin and Geraldine Knight. Deborah graduated from Stillwater High School in 1967.
On January 15, 1999, she married Rodger Erker, and they made their home in Tulsa. Deborah was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family fiercely and was a wonderful mother to her daughters, Tiffany Wilson and Terra Hills, and a devoted Mimi to her grandchildren, Christian, Jacob, and Emma Wilson.
Deborah was known for her warm and welcoming personality. She loved to entertain her family and friends in spectacular style and was a consummate hostess. She enjoyed organizing social events in her Esplanade community. She was also an avid tennis player, she loved to dance, listen to music late into the night and attend concerts. Some of her favorite concerts were Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and Santana.
Deborah's beloved dog, Tito, was her constant companion and brought her so much joy.
Deborah is survived by her children Tiffany Wilson of Owasso, OK, and Terra (Michael) Hills of Seekonk, MA, her grandchildren Christian (Ayla) Wilson of Edmond, OK, Jacob Wilson of Norman, OK, and Emma Wilson of Owasso, OK; her loving husband, Rodger Erker, and his children, Rodger (LouAnn) Erker Jr. of Newport, RI, Molly Erker of St. Louis, MO, and Teresa (Jeff) Bont of Tulsa, OK, and his grandchildren, August Bont of St. Louis, MO, Parker Bont of Cincinnati, OH, and Blaise Erker of Newport, RI; and her sister, Jennifer (Brian) Brakhage of Stillwater, OK, and her nephews Nick (Shea) Little of Edmond, OK, Zach (Tara) Little of Choctaw, OK, and Ryan (Krystin) Brakhage of Tulsa, OK.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Geraldine Knight, and by Rodger's son Billy Erker.
Visitation will be held at Fitzgerald's Southwood on June 15, from 5-7 pm, with the Rosary at 7 pm. The Funeral Mass will take place at the Church of Saint Mary in Tulsa on June 16th at 2 pm.
