Delilah Sophronia Rackley Ming of Jenks died Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Forest Hills Care Center in Broken Arrow at the age of 89. She was born July 10, 1924, in Cromwell, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Charles Robert Rackley and Jeannie L. Gatewood Rackley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Wilson Ming, her parents, and two brothers, Robert Lewis Rackley and Charles Lee Rackley. She is survived by sons Eddie R. Ming and wife, Gloria, of Dallas, Texas; Sterling W. Ming, Jr. and wife, Nirena, of Bentonville, Arkansas; Martin C. Ming of Hawaii; and son Ronald T. Ming and wife, Debbie, of Ontario, California; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was married 42 years to her loving husband Sterling.
Visitation is set for Thursday night from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel with interment to follow at Floral Haven Cemetery.
