Obituary

Dennis Quinn Llewellyn, Sr., 56, was called home to be with our Lord on Friday, April 27th, 2012. Dennis passed away after a short battle against colon cancer with his family at his side. He was born in Tulsa, OK to Thomas and Agnes Llewellyn. After completing his education, Dennis embarked on an extensive career, including Bethlehem Steel, Wheatley Valve, Mylon C. Jacobs, Red Man Pipe and Supply and Trinity Precision Flow Control. He was an internationally known and well respected sales executive and leader in the oil and gas industry. He was proud to be a director on the board of the Petroleum Club of Tulsa. In addition to his many career accomplishments, Dennis also led a successful family life and was never shy when it came to bragging about his kids. He had 4 children, but raised 5. Dennis was well known to his friends as a generous man with a big and humble heart and was not quick to brag about his good deeds. In his last days, his family had the honor of meeting hundreds of people who came forward with stories of Dennis' generosity towards them in a time of need. Truly, a great man has left this world, but only to join an even greater eternity.
Dennis was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother, Thomas, and his sister, Cecelia. He is survived by his twin brother Daniel (Cindy), sisters Mary and Rita, wife Shell, children Randall (Olivia), Matthew, Ryan and Quinn, his stepdaughter Amy (Gary), his grandchildren Tristan, Taylar, Kirstie, Whitney and Trey and countless relatives.
Visitation will be on Tues., May 1st, from 6 to 8 pm at Fitzgerald's Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E 91st St in Tulsa. Services will be Wed., May 2nd, at 11 am at the same location. The family would like to thank Saint Francis in-house hospice program for their care and support. Contributions may be made in Dennis' memory to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
