Obituary

Denys, a devout Christian, husband, brother, uncle and "adopted grandpa", with a large extended family, died April 19, 2014, while on a trip to the Texas coast.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Catherine, and his sister Andrea Snow.

Born on November 2, 1944 to C. F. "Buddy" and Opal Marker, he grew up in Strang, Oklahoma. Immediately following graduation from Strang High School in 1962, he joined the Air Force, subsequently entering the Air National Guard in Tulsa. He retired in 1999 as a Chief Master Sergeant (CMSGT).

He was a lover of dogs and all animals, old cars, fishing, off-roading, traveling and adventure. He never met a stranger.

Viewing will be Friday, April 25th, 1 -5 pm, and Saturday, 9 am – 1 pm, at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, Tulsa. Viewing will be Monday, April 28th, 11 am – 1 pm, in the Chapel of Pryor First Church of God, First and Rowe Streets in Pryor, Oklahoma. A Memorial Slideshow, 11 am – 1:45 pm and Memorial Service at 2 pm, will be in the Sanctuary. Interment will be at a later date.
